Information Technology

We are not a general IT systems provider, but we do develop custom software tailored to production needs. Over the past few years, projects have included, for example:

• a production control system for a medium-sized new-build shipyard
• an integrated documentation system - focusing on weld seam documentation in the serial production of foundation structures for offshore wind turbines
• calculation models and software for market analysis in the ship repair sector
• various material flow simulation models for optimizing production and logistics processes using Siemens Plant Simulation - including models for weather-dependent maritime handling and transport processes, dynamic space allocation planning for heavy steel construction, etc.
• various software extensions for Microsoft Project to enable the rapid, database-supported creation and maintenance of production schedules based on section, compartment, and system lists and their associated standard workflows, including links to delivery data
