Who We Are

Jörg Möller GmbH / IMS Nord is an independent consultancy based in Bremerhaven. Since our founding in 1997, we have supported demanding projects in the fields of shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, offshore wind energy, and information technology - from initial planning to practical on-site implementation.

Our History

Founded in 1997 as Dr. Möller & Tamm GmbH / IMS Nord in Bremen-Vegesack, renamed Dr. Möller GmbH / IMS Nord and relocated to Bremerhaven in 2003, and operating as Jörg Möller GmbH / IMS Nord since 2025, we have evolved from a small engineering office into a reliable partner for our clients over the years.

Over 25 Years of Experience

Through numerous successfully completed projects, we have advised and supported clients in sectors such as shipbuilding, mechanical and plant engineering, and energy, as well as national and international public-sector clients, including development banks.

Our guiding principle remains constant: to work in a solution-oriented, innovative, reliable, cost-effective, and trustworthy manner - regardless of the task’s size or complexity.

We view ourselves not merely as planners, but as implementation partners.

In addition to the preparation and coordination of complex projects, assuming responsibility for on-site implementation is one of our core competencies. This applies particularly to challenging project situations and the most difficult on-site conditions - scenarios that, especially in international projects, demand a high level of intercultural competence.
